Workshops, Performances and Diary of Past and Future Events

As a workshop leader Matthew has directed sessions for NEEMF (Court of Maximillian, Paie Cantiones) and EEMF (Hildegard of Bingen with Sara Stowe), He teaches on the Chalemie Summer School and is an experienced leader of Schools Workshops and Projects with young people (with the New Oxford Consort).  

Diary 2013

2-4 July: Recording Project at Bath Spa 

27th July: Matthew is giving a conference paper and concert in the Holywell Music Room as part of the Galpin Society and Bate Collection Oxford Conference.  

13th September: In September Matthew is organising and running a conference on Georgian Pleasures at Bath’s Holburne Museum.  As part of the conference there will be a gala concert in gardens based on concerts given in the gardens in the last decade of the 18th century.  This concert will be researched and directed by Matthew, performed by The Vauxhall Players, and appear on BBC radio’s In Tune live radio programme. 

4-6th October: Matthew is playing theorbo continuo for a performance of Handel’s Rodelinda.
